Went to Primary School in Cowper Street - refused to go to kindergarden a year earlier. The was moved to Selig Brodetsky school at Moortown. Family moved to Moortown. father's butcher shop movedfrom North Street to Shadwell Lane.

Jan 1960 Hannah Rachel (sister) born

Sept 1962 Started Allerton High School

Dec 1962 Bother Simcha died of secondary lung cancer

Spring 1963 Mother had a baby which lived 24 hours and died of cot death in hospital. Started having piano lessons with Enid Oughtibridge and winning prizes at local festivals etc.

Spring 1967(?) Brother Joseph was born when I was 15.

Sept 1970 Left Leeds to go to the Royal Academy of London. Lived in Stamford Hill and then Hendon before getting a bedsit off Finchley Road.

July 1971 Prize list at the end of my first year Played Schumann Abegg Variations

Spring 1972 Met Bill Meyer at a concert and decided he was the one....so I ate nonkosher, got drunk and lost my virginity all in one night.

July 1972 Won the year prize . Played Beethoven -Appasionata Sonata

Aug 1972 Trip to Israel in the summer for 6 weeks with Judy and Susan et al. We stayed in youth hostels and with family.

July 1973 Prize list at the end of year. Played Beethoven Op109 and Chopin Polonise- Fantasie

Aug 1973 Disastrous trip with family to Bournemouth with a friend.......

1974 Left the Academy - had enough!! Went to work as a copy typist at the LEB and then did general temping and went home for a few months where I met Glyn in June/July. Had somelessons with Fanny Waterman during that time.

Oct. 1974 Had a weekend with Glyn in London - stayed with Annie and Brian.

Dec 1974 Left Leeds and parents with Glyn to live in London - stayed with Annie and Brian for a month until we found a house.

Feb 15th 1975 married at Forest Gate registry office.

Aug 1975 moved to Scarborough - got Matty (boxer dog)

Spring 1976 Moved to Hull - mistake!! Lived on Anlaby Rd. Worked as a temp for 60p an hour microfilming documents for Reckitt and Colman. Boring work.

Winter 1976 Moved to Leeds and lived with in laws at 101 Lidgett Lane in their attic.

Spring 1977 Started nursing at LGI and moved into Hartley Avenue

Aug 1977 Holiday with Glyn's mum in Scotland at Kinloch Leven.

Spring 1979 Worked at Kay & Co whilst pregant with .....

Dec 29th 1979 Abigail's birthday at Leeds Maternity Hospital.Glyn's mum came to "look after" us....

Summer 1980 Moved to Norton Road.

15th Feb 1981 - wedding anniversary - Miscarried poor unwanted baby at 14 weeks. Started teaching piano.

December 1984 Cris born at the new LMH.

March 17th 2004 Glyn collapsed and died of a massive heart attack Wednesday evening, as I was teaching.Pronounced dead at 6.05pm. Rang Abigail in Amasterdam and Cris in London to get them both home asap. Cris arrived at 3am - told him and we sat and held each other and cried. Abigail arrived Leeds Bradford airport 10.30ish following day - I went to meet her and we just clutched each other in the arrival hall and cried. The hardest day except for the funeral.

March 19th 2005 Met Joseph face to face for first time. Went to Saltaire and Shipley Glen Tramway.

April 27th 2005 My first posting to this blog. Lots of blanks for me to fill in!!

1960 or 1961: Holiday to Ireland.
1963 (summer): First canal holiday Gailey-Ellesmere and return.
1964 (summer): Moved to 124 Grove Road.
1968 (Easterish): Second holiday abroad, to Amsterdam and Netherlands on cruising Botel.
1973 (summer): Last-but-one family boat holiday.
1974 (30 March): Final day at school.
1977 (summer): Last family boat holiday, Nantwich-Stourport and return. News that Elvis Presley had died while we were at Stewponey Lock.
1978 (June/July): Graduated, Liverpool Polytechnic.
1979 (December): Moved into first house, in Silverlea Avenue, Wallasey
1982 (November 6th): Married Brenda, Wallasey Register Office.
1984 (May): First major holiday abroad, to 'celebrate' Brenda's 40th birthday, fortnight to Sorrento, Italy
2002 (March 30th): Brenda passed at 1605, St Johns Hospice, Clatterbridge, Wirral.
2005 (March 19th): Met Sara for the first time - to Saltaire and Shipley Glen Tramway
